EPS OPPORTUNITIES

NEASC SURVEY

The Everett High School NEASC Accreditation Steering Committee is creating a new Vision of the Graduate/ Graduate Profile (VOG).

The VOG is a set of transferable skills we want our students to possess by the time they leave high school. In an effort to identify the most important skills, leaders have been collecting input from students, staff, community members, and business and industry leaders. We are looking for more engagement, so please forward the survey to anyone you know (friends, family members, other acquaintances) who might be able to provide valuable insight into what skills are necessary to succeed in today's workforce.

NEASC COMMITTEE OPENING
The NEASC Steering Committee is seeking eight EHS staff members to join the  Core Values/Vision of the Graduate Committee to analyze the results of stakeholder feedback and use materials from the “Designing the Vision of a Graduate” workshops to develop a coherent and functional Vision of the Graduate document.

5 DISTRICT PARTNERSHIP
Educators Sought to Participate in Virtual PD Day

The 5DP will host its fourth 5DP Shared Professional Development Day on November 8, 2022. The 5DP will continue to explore the theme of Equity for All and are seeking teacher and staff presenters to share their knowledge, experience and wisdom during this virtual PD day. Organizers are looking for a broad range and variety of teacher- and staff-led presentations this year, particularly sessions that focus on racial equity, social emotional learning, strategies for EL and other diverse learners, and wellness. Offerings for specialist teachers and staff (CTE teachers, nurses, counselors, etc.) are also very desirable.

As we did last year, the EPS will offer $300 to any EPS educator who leads a session during 5DP Professional Development Day to help you prepare your presentation.

If you are interested, please apply using the link below.
