Devens School

Welcome to the Devens School, a co-educational therapeutic day school, serving students ages 5-22 who have been identified as eligible for special education services. The Devens School is operated by the

EVERETT PUBLIC SCHOOLS and initially licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Secondary and Elementary Education in 2012. The Devens School provides a COMPREHENSIVE and INTENSIVE therapeutic program in an environment that INSPIRES academic success and personal GROWTH. We MOTIVATE and SUPPORT our students throughout their school experience and teach them to RECOGNIZE, NURTURE and CELEBRATE their individual strengths. Alternately, we teach them STRATEGIES to avoid becoming victim of their own mental and physical challenges. The Devens School works closely with PARENTS and students to provide education as a practical means to improve their lives. We believe the essential components of a therapeutic education include ACCOUNTABILITY and RESPONSIBILITY, coupled with OPEN and HONEST communication, under the supervision of clinically trained staff.
