AN UPLIFTING EXPERIENCE

EPS Art Coordinator Cari DiCicco won first place in her division and in her age group during the annual Boston's Strongest powerlifting meet for charity in Malden on Saturday November 12th. Ms. DiCicco is now the New England record holder in her division, having scored a 735# on the 12th.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR STAFF

UMASS-BOSTON TEACHING OPPORTUNITY

Are you interested in teaching a graduate level education course for UMASS Boston? If so, you can earn $5,000 per course on an Everett Campus!

EPS is partnering with UMASS Boston's Teach Next Year Program to provide Master's level evening courses at an Everett Public Schools campus beginning June, 2023. Classes will be for paraprofessionals and other internal teaching candidates.  Instructors are compensated at $5,000 per course.  We are looking for instructors specifically for elementary methods and secondary methods courses.  If you're interested in applying for this opportunity, please email Anne Auger [email protected] as soon as possible.
 

ESL GRADUATE CERTIFICATE

The EPS is partnering with UMAss-Boston to offer up to 15 free graduate credits and an ESL Graduate Certificate. The courses will begin in 2023 and will be held on Wednesdays. If you are interested, a Zoom information session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30th at 3 p.m. Please email Director of English Learners Brittany Hay for the link. Ms. Hay also has applications for any interested teachers.

TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION LEADERS (TILS)

The district is seeking educators to serve as Technology Integration Leaders, or TIL’s, to provide school-based and team-based professional development in all of our schools. This is a paid opportunity, and there are multiple openings.

In conjunction with this effort, The EPS is also seeking one Technology Integration Student Leader Coordinator (TISLC) to recruit student volunteers to help support our technology efforts.
