BACK TO SCHOOL CONVOCATION: AUGUST 26

The Everett Public Schools (EPS) will hold a Back to School Convocation for teachers, administrators, and educational staff on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Everett High School.

The program will include remarks by Superintendent William Hart and School Committee Chairperson Jeanne Cristiano. Renowned behavioral science clinician Dr. Kris Lee will deliver the keynote address, entitled “Reimagining Resilience.”

Parking at Everett High School (EHS) and the adjacent Veterans Memorial Skating Rink are open to all EPS educators, but we strongly encourage staff to park at their respective buildings and carpool to EHS. Parking at the rink is available in the morning only.  Please note that street cleaning ticketing will be suspended for the day.

A light breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria. The program will begin at 8:45 a.m. in the Auditorium. At the conclusion of the Convocation at 11 a.m., attendees will receive a grab-and-go lunch and a tote bag before returning to their schools for building-based professional development.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
