Pride Flag Raising ‘25
Thanks to everyone who attended the district’s 4th Annual Pride Flag Raising on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Everett High School (EHS). This year’s guest speaker was Everett resident and EPS parent Jason P. Wheeler, who also serves as the Director of the Safe Schools Program for LGBTQ Students, a joint project of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth. The festivities were planned by EHS teacher Sean Salazar and Everett Public Schools (EPS) Library Coordinator Mary Puleo. Above, Superintendent Hart is pictured with some of the many students, residents, EPS educators, and elected officials who attended the event.

Sticktoitiveness: Great Job, Webster School
Great job by Webster School fifth graders, who raised $750 selling Popsicles during the month of May. The students donated $550 to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and $200 to an Everett Public School eighth grader who is courageously battling cancer.

Give Us Your PD Ideas!
The Everett Public Schools (EPS) Professional Development Committee is seeking professional development proposals from staff interested in delivering in-service training to their colleagues.
The Committee is especially interested in receiving proposals focused on social-emotional learning, meeting the needs of students on the autism spectrum, wellness and mindfulness, and topics relevant to instruction at the secondary level. We would also like to encourage those interested in considering 10 PDP offerings.
