Novartis Field Trip
Everett High School students enrolled in Sung Hwa Chang's Introduction to Pharmacy class took a field trip to the Cambridge location of Novartis, where they learned about the role biotechnology plays in the development of new medicines.

The 17 students and chaperones Mr. Chang and John Cunningham visited CELL@Novartis which stands for Community Exploration and Learning Lab. The EPS science students had the chance to use some of the equipment and that Novartis professionals use every day and engaged in a round-table discussion with two scientists during lunch.

Thanks to the Everett High School science team for creating this opportunity for our students and to Dr. Christopher Backlund for sharing the information with us through our Submission Form.
