Trades Fair at Everett High School
Everett High School hosted a “Jobs in the Trades and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Career Fair” on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Sponsored by the City of Everett, the Greater Boston Building Trades Unions, and Suffolk Construction, the Job Fair was open to Everett High students and families, as well as job seekers, career changers, and area residents. Participants met employers and trade union representatives to learn about jobs and careers, apprenticeships and training programs, and pathways. Above (L-R): Suffolk Construction President, Northeast and National Centers of Excellence Patrick Lucey; Greater Boston Building Trades Union Business Agent Chaton Green; Mayor Robert Van Campen; Superintendent William D. Hart; and Brian Doherty, the Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater Boston Labor Council.

Direct Admission to Worcester State
Thanks to a unique partnership, approximately 65 Everett High School (EHS) seniors have been granted automatic admission to Worcester State University. The students, all with a weighted cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, received their direct admission certificates from Worcester State President Barry Maloney on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Thanks to President Maloney and Vice President for Enrollment Management Dr. Ryan Forsythe for helping us introduce this great opportunity for EHS students.

Sparkle Like Maggie Bench Dedication
The George Keverian School community is honored to invite Keverian staff and community members to the Sparkle Like Maggie Bench Dedication on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:45 p.m. in front of the George Keverian School.
The dedication will celebrate the life and legacy of Margaret “Maggie” Charbonnier, a former Keverian student whose kindness, energy, and compassion left a lasting impression on the people who knew her. Maggie passed away from Addison’s Disease in April 2022 at the age of 24. The October 6 dedication will be an opportunity to remember Maggie, celebrate the tremendous impact one person can have on others, and officially welcome a new space at the Keverian dedicated to friendship and belonging.
