Tide Pride Award
Superintendent William D. Hart (left) and Everett High School Athletic Director Tammy Turner presented Tide Pride Awards to students Kevin Ordonez Sabonge, Gerardo Cubias Sabonge, Jayden Alsaindor, Emmanuel Nelson, Nate Nelson, Emmanuel Lerbout, and Raul Guimaraes on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Crimson Cafe. The students were recognized for helping Robin Gay (front) to safety after her car broke down on Revere Beach Parkway over the Labor Day Weekend.

Community Meeting: September 30
Everett Public Schools (EPS) and the City of Everett are taking the next steps to address overcrowded classrooms and insufficient space for Everett’s K-8 students. Residents are invited to a community meeting on Wednesday, September. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Albert N. Parlin School, where City and school officials will present potential solutions for overcrowding in Everett’s kindergarten through eighth-grade schools. Residents will hear about the options being considered from Superintendent William D. Hart, Mayor Robert J. Van Campen, and representatives from the architectural firm Perkins Eastman and the project management company Left Field will be on hand to share information with families and residents.

Sparkle Like Maggie Bench Dedication
The George Keverian School community is honored to invite Keverian staff and community members to the Sparkle Like Maggie Bench Dedication on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:45 p.m. in front of the George Keverian School.
The dedication will celebrate the life and legacy of Margaret “Maggie” Charbonnier, a former Keverian student whose kindness, energy, and compassion left a lasting impression on the people who knew her. Maggie passed away from Addison’s Disease in April 2022 at the age of 24. The October 6 dedication will be an opportunity to remember Maggie, celebrate the tremendous impact one person can have on others, and officially welcome a new space at the Keverian dedicated to friendship and belonging.
