Global Recognition
Last spring, Everett High School members of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (Hispanic Honor Society) held a bracelet sale to benefit The Pulsera Project, a fair-trade nonprofit organization that connects Central American artists with students in schools across the United States by selling colorful, handwoven bracelets, or “pulseras.”
In recognition of their successful efforts, the Society received a set of hand-carved maracas made by artisans in Nicaragua. The maracas are engraved with the words “Everett High” and are predominantly Crimson red.

Global Impact
Members of the Everett High School Key Club and the Crimson Tide boys basketball team helped the Everett and Medford Kiwanis Clubs prepare donations for the Grace Food Pantry on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The Kiwanis Club works with Pembroke-based End Hunger NE and The Outreach Program, which organizes food packaging events around the country. With more than 985 million meals packaged to date, the organization’s mission is to provide safe water, food, medical care, and education to those in need, at home and abroad.
Everett High’s participation was so strong that the event is scheduled for inclusion in an upcoming edition of Kiwanis Magazine. Thanks to everyone who planned this special event.
