EHS Students Showcase STEM Projects During a Statewide Event Hosted by the One8 Foundation
Everett High School (EHS) was well represented at the One8 Applied Learning Student Showcase, a statewide event that gives students the chance to display their work and interact with STEM professionals and industry leaders.

Forty-three (43) EHS students displayed projects at the Showcase, which was hosted by The TRACK at New Balance in Boston on Friday, May 9, 2025.  EHS underclassmen presented on the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) projects they completed as students in the Introduction to Engineering Design and Principles of Engineering classes. Seniors presented their Engineering Design and Development Capstone Projects. Participants received verbal and written feedback from more than 500 industry professionals, representatives from institutions of higher education, and one very special guest — Governor Maura Healey.

Congratulations to the EHS students who took advantage of the chance to experience real-world interactions and connect to the careers and professions that could last a lifetime.  Thanks to science teacher Dr. Christopher Backlund for sharing this update.
