GBL Outdoor Track Championships
Relay Team, Eveillard Capture Gold
The Everett High School (EHS) Crimson Tide boys outdoor track team captured two gold medals and set two school records at the Greater Boston League Championships on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Dilboy Stadium in Somerville. Sophomore Arioc Akre, junior Kervens Joseph, senior Luvens Hector, and junior captain Kayshaun Eveillard, won gold in the 4 x 100 relay race, capping a sensational spring season for the quartet of sprinters. In addition, Eveillard won first place in the 400 meters, lowering his school-record time from 50.56 to 50.10.
In the 200-meter dash, Joseph established a new school record by crossing the finish line in 22.99, breaking the previous record held by Eveillard. These two runners are sure to continue to rewrite the Crimson Tide record books during the winter and spring seasons of 2026.
Other Crimson Tide standouts during Monday’s championships included:
Hector — 2nd place, 400-meter hurdles
David Roseme — 2nd place, javelin
Akre — 3rd place, 100-meter dash
Lucas Nunez — 3rd place, 2-mile
