The Office of Human Resources works to ensure that all employees in the Everett Public Schools are supported and valued.  This department also serves as the liaison to the City for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance.  We also manage and can assist you with retirement, the employee assistance program, and tax-sheltered annuities.

 EPS Welcomes Francesse J. Canty as its
New Human Resources Director

Francesse J. Canty, Esq., served as a Labor Counsel for Boston Public Schools where she provided advice and exceptional representation in all labor and employment related matters, including arbitrations, collective bargaining agreements, policy development, disciplinary matters, and operational compliance implementation. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant General Counsel at the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, specializing in torts, property rights, construction and procurement contracts and regulatory matters. At the Commission, she drafted administrative rules and regulations, served as a policy advisor to senior management on policy decisions and conducted grievance and disciplinary hearings making great contributions to the Legal Department.

In addition to being a dedicated Public Servant in her profession, Francesse is very active in the Boston legal community as well as the Haitian American community across the Commonwealth.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys for seven (7) years.  Francesse also supports the Haitian community through a host of volunteer opportunities and civic associations.

Francesse received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A. in International Studies and Criminology from University of South Florida. She currently lives with her family in the Greater Boston area and enjoys baking.
