Inaugural Event a Big Success!
The Everett Public Schools (EPS) hosted its first-ever Scholarship Donor Welcome Reception on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, inside the Everett High School Library.

Organized by Everett High School (EHS) Director of Guidance Kelley Naumann and EPS Director of Strategic Initiatives Rosemary Hughes, the reception gave administrators, guidance counselors, and teachers the chance to meet and thank the people and organizations that donate to the EHS Scholarship Fund.

Superintendent William D. Hart welcomed the donors, while the Culinary Arts Department prepared a delicious array of sweet and savory treats. Afterwards, everyone was invited to head down to the EHS Auditorium to enjoy the Winter Gala Concert.

(Santa Claus also made an appearance, for which we have Keverian School Principal Alex Naumann to thank!)

The EHS Scholarship Night is held every May. While donors are invited to attend the event and present scholarships to graduating seniors, Superintendent Hart wanted another way to thank and engage with the generous people who, collectively, provide more than $100,000 in annual scholarships to EHS.

“The night of the Winter Gala Concert is an ideal opportunity to connect our partners and stakeholders with students and staff,” Superintendent Hart said. “It is a part of continued efforts to fully leverage external relationships to the benefit of EPS students. Just as important, we want to show our gratitude, not just say it.”
