CTE Senior Capstone Projects
Everett High School (EHS) Career and Technical Education (CTE) students presented Senior Capstone Projects to their teachers, peers, and a panel of judges on Monday, May 11, 2026, inside the EHS Auditorium. A total of of 107 students worked on eight capstone projects, representing EHS's eight Chapter 74 CTE Programs.
Superintendent William D. Hart, EHS Principal Dr. John Braga, EHS Assistant Principal Karen Hughes, and Director of Strategic Initiatives Rosemary Hughes served as the judges.

CAPSTONE PROJECTS
- Advanced Manufacturing: Using Additive Manufacturing and 3D Bioprinting to Address the Organ Donor Shortage
- Carpentry: Carpentry Community Services: Providing Students with Real-World Construction Experience Through Community Projects
- Culinary Arts: Reducing Food Insecurity Through Affordable, Nutrient-Dense Meals and Food Waste Reduction
- Health Assisting: Your Health Matters: Improving Teen Access to Healthcare Resources Through a Community Referral Guide
- Hospitality Management: Under the Stairs Café: Developing a Student-Run Coffee Service Model for Everett High School
- Marketing: Everett Thrives: Supporting Local Businesses Through Community-Based Marketing Strategies
- Medical Assisting: CARE Van: Expanding Access to Community-Based Physical and Mental Healthcare Services
- Programming & Web Development: Occupath: An AI-Powered Career and Financial Guidance Platform for Students
The projects were judged for their strengths in the following categories: definition of the problem they identified, research and evidence, solution design and feasibility, proof of concept, individual contributions and technical work, project scope and execution, presentation and communication, and impact and industry relevance. Projects were scored from 1 to 4, with 4 "Exceeding Expectations."
The winning project — "Occupath: An AI-Powered Career and Financial Guidance Platform for Students" — was completed by Promit Baidya, Dabensky Blemur, Arthur Campos, Kevensky Claude, Gabriel Fernandes Mendes Gonzaga, Ralphy Raphael, and Jin Tith. Their instructor is Neeta Kalva.
