COURSES

INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 6-8 P.M.
JANUARY 27 TO MARCH 4
The course will cover the basics of the Windows XP operating system. Each student will learn how to install programs, alter window screens, save and open files, etc. Also, a basic overview of applications will be addressed. This course runs for five weeks. This course is for the novice user. Cost: $150

INTRODUCTION TO MS OFFICE
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 6-8 P.M.
JANUARY 27 TO MARCH 4
Learn the basics of the popular productivity tool MS Office.Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be introduced and dis- cussed during the course program. Basic computer knowledge is a prerequisite. Cost: $150

GED PREP
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 6-8 P.M.
JANUARY 27 TO APRIL 8
Students will prepare for the GED exam. This course consists of five parts: a) Science, b) Literature, c) Math, d) Social Studies and e) Writing. Class time is spent on both oral and written practice. This course runs for ten weeks. Fee includes $ 10.00 to cover cost of textbook, which the student is allowed to keep. Cost: $160

ENGLISH FOR THE FOREIGN BORN
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 6-8 P.M.
JANUARY 27 TO APRIL 8
This program is for the foreign born student who has basic knowledge of English but would like to improve his/her English skills. This course runs for ten weeks. Cost: $150

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH
MONDAYS FROM 6-8 P.M.
JANUARY 27 TO APRIL 6
This course is designed for people that desire to learn the basics of the Spanish language. This course runs for ten weeks. Cost: $125
