The Adams School welcomed Home Depot employees into its classrooms on May 18, 2026, to lead a hands-on learning experience for pre-kindergarten students. The Home Depot team members held Kids Workshops in several classrooms, where students built and decorated flower planters and planted tomato seeds. The excitement throughout the building was contagious as students learned how to safely use tools such as a hammer and screwdriver while creating something to take home and care for. The students enjoyed learning through exploration, creativity, and hands-on play. In addition to spending time with students, another Home Depot employee generously assembled two sandboxes donated to the Adams School, creating a new space that will support outdoor learning, imagination, and fun for our students. We are very grateful for Home Depot’s partnership, generosity, and willingness to invest time in our school community.
