Teacher Appreciation Week was May 4-8, 2026, and Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs), Central Administration, and building leaders marked the occasion in a variety of ways. Superintendent Hart and the Central Administration team distributed wireless chargers as a small token of appreciation, while PTOs and principals provided coffee, candy, coffee, breakfast, and/or lunch to faculty throughout the district. In addition, representatives from the Boston Bruins, including its mascot Blades, brought school supplies and coffee and donuts to the Whittier and Madeline English schools on Friday, May 8 — a great way to end Teacher Appreciation Week!
