CALMING CORNERS PD!
We are really excited to see people from all over our organization sign up for our SELWELL training opportunities! In fact, our Calming Corner sessions have already filled up. But if you are interested, please fill join our waitlist.
Calming Corners are research-based Tier I tools for Social Emotional Wellness inside the classroom. Calming Corners are positive places that reward students for using calming strategies when they are upset. We are offering two cohorts for EPS teachers:
Wednesday Cohort — February 16, March 23, April 27, and May 4
Thursday Cohort — February 10, March 10, April 7, and May5
Benefits:
$750 grant award.
2-hour stipend to incorporate a Calming Corner into your classroom
Up to 11 PDPs.

Snow days have twice canceled Jeans Day fundraisers for the Devens School. But if at first you don’t succeed …
So, if Mother Nature cooperates, we will hold the fundraiser on Friday, February 11th. Please make your $5 contribution to your building’s administrative assistant. All final donations should be sent to Principal Brian Wallace at the Devens.
FREE OFFER FROM OSJL
Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) and its charitable foundation is giving away free hand sanitizer, hand wipes and disinfecting wipes to school employees. Proof of employment with a photo ID will be required at checkout. This promotion will run through Wednesday, February 16, 2022 or until supplies last. The closest OSJL locations are in Medford and Route 1 in Saugus.
