Flu Vaccination Requirement
Everett Public Schools Community,
This is a reminder that Massachusetts students, whether participating in remote or in-person learning, must receive a flu vaccine by February 28, 2021. Although school nurses have been communicating with families directly, it is more important than ever to obtain your flu vaccine, which is an important step in reducing flu-related illness and the overall impact of respiratory illness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To support families with this requirement, there are a variety of vaccination options. Most vaccines are completely covered by health insurance. To find out where you can get a flu vaccine, visit HERE. The City of Everett offers free flu vaccinations to uninsured or under-insured residents. For more information, call 617-394-2255.
Documentation should be faxed, emailed or mailed to your student's school as soon as possible.
