Jeans Day A Huge Success

Benefiting the Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo Memorial Fund

The Everett Public Schools (EPS) presented a check for more than $2,200 to the Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, October 1 inside the Crimson Cafe. The fundraising effort benefits the Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo Memorial Fund, in honor of the late former Kiwanian, civic leader, and beloved Everett resident.
The money was raised through a “Jeans Day” effort in which EPS employees paid $5 to wear jeans to work on a recent Friday. It was organized by Tammy Turner, advisor to the Kiwanis Key Club at Everett High.
