2018-2019 EPS Bullying Action Plan & Incident Reporting

The Everett Public Schools Bullying Action Plan shall apply to students and members of a school staff, including, but not limited to, educators, administrators, school nurses, cafeteria workers, custodians, bus drivers, athletic coaches, advisors to an extracurricular activity and paraprofessionals.

Every employee is a mandated reporter. Incidents of bullying / retaliation are reported to a staff member who then submits the report form as an identified reporter or an anonymous reporter to the investigator: Principal, Assistant / Vice Principal, Guidance Counselor, other administrator or a teacher. Initial investigation takes place immediately. The report is dated and time-stamped. The Principal maintains a log of each incident, and submits that log monthly to the Director of Guidance who maintains a district tally. Follow-up information about each case is also maintained.
